Who is Al Capone
Al Capone was a gangster and the head of a criminal empire in Chicago. He made $60 million a year and succeeded by killing his competition. He was worth $100
million, he was involved with 522 bloody gang killings, and he ran a network of
10,000 speakeasies. Al Capone or "Big Fellow" was finally arrested in 1931 do to
tax evasion the only thing the police cold get on him.
Sacco and Vanzetti convicted of murder
With the Red Scare uprising in
the twenties, in May 1920 Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were charged
with the robbery and murder of a factory paymaster and his guard in South
Braintree. These charges were set because of their radical beliefs and little
evidence was solid on them. Protests rang out in The United States, Europe,
Latin America and they died from the electric chair in August 23,
1927.
